Kransekake
Lorraine Jasinski teaches you how to make kransekake, the spectacular "crown cake" that appears at all truly special occasions in Norway. Lorraine teaches how to make the flour from ground almonds, now to get "a feel" for the dough (this is a hands-on class, so bring an apron) and how to put the dough into ring molds. She also shares tips on baking, decorating, and storing your cake. $35

Learn to Make Lefse

Learn to make lefse, a homey, Scandinavian flatbread, in this hands-on class. Martha and David Dobratz show you how to make the dough, roll it, and fry it on a lefse grill. Lots of flour is involved, so bring an apron. here will be plenty of samples, coffee, and opportunities to practice your skills. $30
