Dala Horse Painting Class

In this class you will design and paint your carved Dala Horse or a 3D horse purchased from Ingebretsen's. No painting experience is necessary and the instructor will guide you through the process. Painting supplies are provided for your use in class. Wear a paint apron or clothing you can get a little paint on. Adults and students age 12 and up are welcome to enjoy this fun folk art. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday, April 12th from 10:00am to 3:00pm with a lunch break
$5 materials fee for painting supplies. You can bring your own horse or purchase one from Ingebretsen’s - $20 or $25.

Instructor Bio: Julie Anderson has been teaching folk art since 1998 and has studied with American, Swedish, Norwegian and Moravian artists.  Instruction emphasizes techniques, interpreting old work, exploring color, design, and personal expression.
