Ingebretsen's Annual Ornament 2022
This year's annual ornament is made in Eagan, Minnesota by woodturner, Phil Holtan. "Man of the Word, Man of the Wood." Phil is dedicated to his craft and continues to make beautiful bowls and ornamental pieces, as well as teach woodturning from his studio. You can read more about Phil on our blog here.
These 4" trees are made of special spalted Sugar Maple. The spalting indicates a rot in the tree's vascular system; this leaves a dark colored trail that looks like a pen drawing when dried. It is rare to find.
