Eckträd Cowl Pattern

The Eckträd (oak tree) textured rib cowl knit in the round looks more complicated than it is. It's gentle drape looks good on both sides, and resembles the bark of the oak tree.
Shown knit with one skein of Silky Wool 196, on size 1 (16-inch circular or set of dp needles) for a gauge of 23sts and 8 rounds = 4".
