Lovikka Style Felted Bag Pattern

Made with Lovikka, Alasfoss Lopi or similar bulky-weight wool yarn on size 9 needles (16-inch circular and dps), this bag is inspired by traditional Lovikka mittens, and embroidered with colors found in the Sami culture.
After knitting, an I-cord handle is knit and sewn on, then the entire bag is felted. After felting the bag is embroidered, and the optional tassel can be added.There are three sizes of bags to choose from, and it is fun to experiment with colors and designs on them.
