Swedish Lovikka-Style Mitten Pattern

Based on traditional mittens from the 1890's,
Wendy Johnson has created a modern version for today.
This versatile pattern includes sizes for children 5-8 yrs up to large (men's medium). Made from bulky yarn we recommend either Alafoss Lopi or Lovikka wool, on size 9 (5.5mm) double-pointed needles. Make your first pair following the pattern, then take off and design your own cuff designs for a more personal touch.
