Léttlopi yarn is known and loved for it's lightness and warmth. Garments made with Léttlopi will be comfortable to wear both indoors and outdoors. Yarn will soften with gentle soakings.
The original company, Álafoss, was established in 1896, marking the start of Iceland's wool industry. The original factory building in Mosfellsbær (just 15 minutes from Reykjavík) now houses the Álafoss wool store. All Lopi yarn is still produced and spun in Iceland under the current company Ístex. All dyes meet the OEKO-TEX 100 standard.

Gauge: 18 stitches per 4" on US 8 needles
Care: Hand wash, lay flat to dry.
