Starry Night Tray

Raised in a home plagued by tuberculosis, poverty, and mental illness, Norwegian Edvard Munch (1863-1944) developed a style reflective of each. He sought, through his art, to “explain life and its meaning to myself.” He abandoned Impressionism and sought a style in which he could more readily release emotion and energy.
Moody Starry Night (Stjernenatt from 1823-24) is featured on this laminated birch tray by Norwegian master Edvard Munch. From Norwegian design firm Eyepoc, made in Sweden. 14x11"
