Happy 50th Birthday to our gift shop!
In 1974, Julie Ingebretsen opened a little gift shop in a small storefront on East Lake Street, just next door to her grandfather's market (the same location where we are today!). She and her husband Craig began building a center for learning and sharing the craft, culture and traditions of Scandinavia.
50 years later in 2024, we celebrate all who have helped to build what has become an extraordinary legacy, including you.
