Each fall, we look forward to inviting artisans to share their work with our community. We welcome textile artists who will be showing us the skills and techniques of our grandmothers, woodworkers carving on site, an antiques sale, bakery pop-ups & more. Events begin during sale week and continue through the season- check back for updates & additions.

Leif Eriksson International Festival
Throughout the festival, visitors can experience a wide range of events and activities, including traditional and contemporary music and dance performances, art exhibits featuring Nordic-inspired works, storytelling sessions, and culinary demonstrations. Spotlight on Icelandic Women Writers (and their translators)
Celebrate the publication of Open Letter’s 2026 Iceland Triptych... three remarkable Icelandic novels in English translation: Boudoir by Sigrún Pálsdóttir, The Strongest Woman in the World by Steinunn G. Helgadóttir, and Twelve Women & Under the Volcano by Svava Jakobsdóttir. Author Steinunn G. Helgadóttir and translators Larissa Kyzer and Lytton Smith will be in attendance for a reading and discussion about these wildly different works that illuminate the lives and experiences of women in the twentieth and twenty-first century Iceland. This event is free & open to the public.
