HARDANGER
Hardanger embroidery is a traditional needlework from Norway.
Worked on even-weave fabric, this geometric style incorporates many different techniques including pulled/drawn threads, cutwork, needleweaving and satin stitching. While it is traditionally worked in white thread on white fabric, contemporary pieces have incorporated different colored threads and fabrics.
