Grannas A. Olsson Hemslöjd is one of the first established Dala Horse makers in Sweden. Grannas was the first in his family to help carve wooden horses, a brother in the well known Olsson family (see Nils Olsson), he established his own company in 1922. The horses are still made in Nusnäs Sweden, and Grannas A. Olsson makes over 50,000 horses each year, painting each one by hand!
