Two Swedish sisters, whose family nicknames are Butti and Kicki, were avid hobbyists, with a special interest in all kinds of textiles. Eventually they began making little dolls and dressing them in traditional Scandinavian garb. Now, 35 years later, the company they founded, Butticki, is a three-generation enterprise and is known internationally for its handmade figures and the craftsmanship that is the hallmark for all they produce.
