Dala Pig Painting Class

Explore Swedish-inspired folk art painting and paint your own wooden Dala pig. This class is designed for all skill levels-including those who have not painted before. All supplies are provided, and your instructor will guide you through the process, from researching traditional styles to designing your own motif. Wear a paint apron or clothing you can get a little paint on. Adults and students age 12 and up are welcome to enjoy this fun folk art. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult.

 Instructor Bio: Julie Anderson has been teaching folk art since 1998 and has studied with American, Swedish, Norwegian and Moravian artists. Instruction emphasizes techniques, interpreting old work, exploring color, design, and personal expression.
