Instructor Bio: Maren Christensen is our new instructor this year, and she's been making singlade balls since she was a child. Maren’s Swedish grandmother, who lived with her family, taught Maren to make Singlade balls when she was about 10 years old. When Maren was in 4-H she received a blue ribbon at the Hennepin County Fair for a series of 10 balls. Maren uses her leftover yarn from knitting projects to make her Singlade balls. She is also a nordic skier, and you’ll find her out enjoying the trails on snowy days.
